Friday night at EchoPark Speedway in Atlanta delivered everything the AAES O'Reilly Series could ask for in Round 4 — eight cautions, 21 lead changes across 150 laps, and a winner who led just six of them. Justin Miller in the #95 machine converted a P8 starting spot into a victory in what proved to be a chaotic, attrition-filled affair on Atlanta's high-banks. The race saw 26 caution laps fly under the yellow flag, and with incidents scattered throughout the 18-car field, Miller's ability to be in the right place at the right moment when it mattered most proved decisive. It is Miller's first win in the AAES O'Reilly Series.

The dominant storyline through the bulk of the 150 laps belonged to #12 Tyler Starcher, who piled up 77 laps led from his P2 starting position — more than half the race's total distance — only to come home second at the stripe. Starcher's night wasn't a total loss, however, as the result moved him to the top of the standings with 142 points. Christopher Childers in the #4 rounded out the podium, charging from P12 to P3 while leading 14 laps of his own. It is Childers' first podium result in the series.

The performance of the night beyond the winner's circle belonged to #917 Anthony Raso, who launched from dead last — P18 on the 18-car grid — and fought all the way to a fifth-place finish, gaining 13 positions across 150 laps in the kind of run that earns a hard charger award without argument. Raso carried 17 incident points on his ledger by race's end, a figure that reflects just how physically demanding Atlanta's draft-heavy racing proved to be. His run was good enough to move him to fourth in the standings with 122 points, keeping him within striking distance of the top three.

With four rounds complete, the standings are razor-tight at the front. Starcher leads with 142 points, but Danna Rhyne — who started from pole Friday night only to tumble to P17 after losing 16 positions — sits just four back at 138, tied with Ted Gambill, who recovered from P7 to run fourth in the #22. Gambill holds 138 points as well, and with 25 points separating the top five, every position battle in the races ahead will carry serious consequences. The AAES O'Reilly Series is shaping up to be one of the most competitive title fights in league racing this season.
