Cameron Iverson drove the #10 to victory lane at Phoenix Raceway on Saturday, earning his third win of the season in Round 12 of the Northwest Short Track Tour. Starting fifth, Iverson worked his way to the front and led 54 of 100 laps in a race that saw 10 lead changes and five cautions consume 15 laps. The win extends his points lead to 30 over second-place Bryson Richardson, putting Iverson in firm control of the standings with rounds remaining on the schedule.

Issiah Gill turned in the night's most impressive drive, bringing the #2 from eighth on the grid all the way to second at the checkered flag — a gain of six positions to earn Hard Charger honors. Gill led 20 laps during that run and crossed the line just one point behind Iverson in race scoring at 43 to 44. It was his second win of the season — wait, a runner-up finish — and his second podium in the series. Gill's charge into second keeps him a factor as the standings tighten behind Iverson.

Bryson Richardson in the #08 qualified second and ultimately finished third, leading 13 laps before settling for the podium. Bobby Graddy in the #1 came home fourth after starting P4 and leading two laps, while Seth Cooper's #3 rounded out the top five after advancing one position from his P6 start. Pole sitter Nate Garske had a difficult night in the #44, falling six positions from the front row to finish seventh despite leading six laps early in the going.

With 30 points now separating Iverson from Richardson and 69 back to third-place Josh Childress — who crossed 11th on Saturday — the top spot in the Northwest Short Track Tour standings is Iverson's to lose. Richardson's third-place result kept him in striking distance, but Iverson's ability to lead more than half of Saturday's laps at Phoenix underscores just how strong the #10 has been across this 12-round stretch. Every point matters from here as the fight for second through fifth in the standings remains wide open, with just 103 points spanning Richardson down to Devin Matthews in fifth.
