Historic Victory: Delta 6 Captures the win at the Daytona 24 Hour for Cadilliac and ///OGRL

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Endurance racing demands speed, consistency, teamwork, and resilience, and the Delta 6 Racing team delivered all four in spectacular fashion during the iRacing Daytona 24 Hour held January 17–19, 2025. After 24 grueling hours around the legendary Daytona International Speedway Road Course, the five-driver lineup emerged victorious, earning a historic overall win in the Cadillac GTP.

The championship-winning team consisted of Damijan Horvatin, David Ven Roy, Jeremy Cheney, Ryan Merriam, and Bradley Lovings, whose combined effort showcased the precision and discipline required to conquer one of sim racing's premier endurance events.

From the opening green flag to the final checkered flag, Delta 6 maintained a relentless pace while navigating changing track conditions, heavy multi-class traffic, and the inevitable challenges that come with racing continuously for an entire day. Every driver contributed critical stints behind the wheel, while the team's strategy and flawless execution kept the Cadillac GTP in contention throughout the event.

Success in the iRacing Daytona 24 Hour is never determined by outright speed alone. Pit strategy, fuel management, traffic awareness, and minimizing mistakes often separate the winners from the rest of the field. Delta 6 excelled in every area, avoiding major setbacks and capitalizing on every opportunity over the course of the race.

The victory marks a milestone achievement for the team, adding their names to the growing list of competitors who have conquered one of the most prestigious endurance races in virtual motorsports. Winning the Daytona 24 requires not only exceptional individual talent but complete trust among teammates, as each driver plays an essential role in the final result.

Driving the powerful Cadillac GTP, the team demonstrated the performance and reliability needed to withstand 24 hours of non-stop competition, ultimately crossing the finish line first after thousands of corners and hundreds of laps around Daytona's iconic road course.

For Damijan Horvatin, David Ven Roy, Jeremy Cheney, Ryan Merriam, and Bradley Lovings, the triumph represents the culmination of countless hours of preparation, practice, and teamwork. Their historic victory stands as a testament to what can be accomplished when five drivers perform as one team under the highest levels of pressure.

As one of iRacing's marquee special events, the Daytona 24 continues to attract elite competitors from around the world. In 2025, it was the Delta 6 Cadillac GTP that stood atop the podium, etching its place in endurance racing history with a memorable and hard-fought victory.
