Round 4 of the Old Guy Racing League NASCAR Trucks Series at World Wide Technology Raceway produced one of the most stunning finishes of the young season, as #6 Caleb Pocock claimed victory from the pole despite leading just 2 of 121 laps. The race's dominant figure was unquestionably #16 Mitchell Williams, who paced the field for 111 laps from his P2 starting spot only to see the win slip away at the end. Six lead changes across a race that saw just one caution for three laps painted a picture of a fiercely competitive event that kept 26 trucks in constant battle around the Gateway oval.

Williams' 111-lap stint at the front makes his P2 result all the more painful, and the numbers tell a brutal story — the #16 truck logged more than 90 percent of the race distance in the lead yet could not convert. Pocock, meanwhile, was precise where it mattered most, collecting 42 points on the night compared to Williams' 37. Rick Sanchez in the #5 rounded out the podium after launching from P10 to P3, a seven-position gain that gives him his first podium result in the series. Three other drivers led laps on the night — #85 Brandon Cowell and #225 Bryce Grissom each led 3, while #93 Brent Just matched Pocock's total with 2 laps up front before finishing sixth.

The hard charger award belongs firmly to #85 Brandon Cowell, who charged from 14th on the grid to fourth at the checkered flag — a gain of 10 positions across 121 laps. Cowell's night was not just impressive on track; it was transformative in the standings. That P4 result, worth 34 points, vaulted Cowell to the top of the championship table with 85 points, seven clear of Pocock in second. With #15 Michael Boone falling 11 positions from his P3 start to finish 14th and #8 James Santoyo and #520 Michael Champlin each losing 13 and 14 spots respectively, the night belonged decisively to the movers rather than the starters.

Through four rounds, the title fight is tightening into a genuine five-way battle. Cowell leads on 85 points with Pocock just seven back at 78, while Richard Modrich holds third at 72 despite a difficult night that saw the #71 truck fall two spots to P10 with five incidents. Mitchell Williams sits fourth at 70 points — just 15 off the lead — and will spend the week knowing that 111 laps of dominance at Gateway earned him nothing but a runner-up finish and a sizable what-if. Ricky Riley rounds out the top five at 67 points, close enough that a single strong result could shake up the entire order.
