Further back, #74 Clark Wolfe held his starting position of fourth to finish fourth, while #66 Jeff Peters did the same from fifth. The battle for sixth and seventh was rougher — #99 Ron Walters gained a position to finish sixth despite racking up 11 incidents, and #3 Nick Page dropped one spot to seventh, also carrying 11 incidents. Notably, not a single one of the seven drivers finished the race with a clean sheet, making it a scrappy afternoon around Oschersleben even without a caution flag flying.

Hale's 33-point haul moves him to 147 points in the standings, placing him second in the BMW M2 series behind Ric Wishon, who holds a commanding 190-point lead at the top of the table. Cunfer's third-place result keeps him in the fight at 131 points, just 16 back of Hale but 59 adrift of Wishon. With Sanchez collecting 27 points to reach an undisclosed standing position and Rick Mogstad sitting fourth at 119 points, the battle for the top half of the standings is tightening behind Wishon, who continues to hold a firm grip on the points lead heading deeper into the season.
