Mitchell Williams put together a commanding performance at Richmond Raceway on Wednesday night, leading 60 of 115 laps from the pole position to secure his second win of the season in the ATC Cup Series. Williams, driving the #54, held off a determined field through three caution periods spanning 12 laps, never surrendering the advantage for long across four total lead changes. Bryce Shoemaker in the #25 ran a strong race from his third starting spot, leading 23 laps and ultimately finishing second for what would be his first podium in the series. Gio Turpin in the #84 was arguably the most aggressive presence in the top three, leading 32 laps after starting fourth and crossing the line third to keep his title hopes very much alive.

The hard charger of the night was Mikal Jones in the #2, who sliced through the field from 19th on the grid to finish seventh, gaining 12 positions across 115 laps. Jones carried two incidents on his sheet but showed consistent pace throughout the race, navigating the short-track chaos at Richmond better than most. David Burcicki in the #92 also deserves mention, advancing seven spots from 15th to 8th, while Jordan Traas in the #79 climbed eight positions from 13th to 5th without a single incident.

On the other side of the ledger, the night turned disastrous for Eldon Stewart. The #1 started second but fell all the way to 16th at the checkered flag — a 14-position collapse — accompanied by 10 incidents that cost him dearly in the standings. Isaiah Fox in the #09 and Justin Frazier in the #27 each shed 13 positions from their starting spots, falling to 20th and 23rd respectively. Randy Coryer in the #52 finished 14th despite accumulating 12 incidents, the most of any driver in the field.

In the championship picture, Randy Coryer holds the points lead with 75 after Round 4, but his margin is razor-thin — Ian Blanchard sits three back at 72, tied with Gio Turpin, who used tonight's podium to stay firmly in contention. Riley Bennett at 64 and Eldon Stewart at 63 round out the top five, though Stewart's difficult night at Richmond has tightened what was already a close points battle. With the top five drivers separated by only 12 points, every position will matter as the ATC Cup Series heads into the next round.
