ATC Rules

Community Standards

1.

Your first goal at ATC should be fun. Accidents happen, and we are all human. Race with respect, and speak kindly to your fellow drivers.

2.

No derogatory remarks or slurs.

3.

No harassment/bullying

4.

Your Discord server profile name must match your iRacing name and roster number.

5.

We are an 18+ League. You must be 18 or older to join.

6.

All drivers are required to be members of the league's official Discord server in order to participate in league events. Discord membership ensures that drivers receive official communications, race announcements, and real-time updates.

In-Race Chat

1.

Keep chat to a minimum and use race chat only.

2.

Race chat refers to notifying other drivers you intend to pit or of hazards on track.

3.

Overly offensive language or arguing over race chat will result in being muted for the entirety of the race.

Abuse

Overt racist or derogatory language will result in immediate and permanent removal from ATC.

Admins have the right to remove any member for any language that they view as detrimental to the League or its members.

In-Race Flags

1.

If you receive a Black Flag that you believe is unwarranted, you must call it out so the admins can review it and clear it if necessary.

2.

Further review will be looked at during the caution or after the race, if deemed a false penalty claim you will be disqualified from the race or issued 0 points.

Retaliation

1.

Retaliation will not be tolerated. Retaliation penalties will be issued at the discretion of the admins and will depend on the severity of the case.

Intentional Wrecking

1.

Intentional wrecking will not be tolerated.

2.

If the admin team feels an incident was initiated with malice, the offending driver will be subject to disciplinary action including but not limited to point reduction, probation, suspension, or removal from the league. Each incident will be looked at on a case-by-case basis.

3.

Stopping on track will be viewed as intentionally trying to bring out a caution. This will be reviewed post-race, and penalties at admins discretion.

Pit Procedures

1.

Maintain pit-road speed as best you can. Speeding in pits black flag will not be cleared under any circumstance.

2.

Intentional/excessive speeding on pit road will not be tolerated and is subject to disciplinary action.

3.

Black Flags for unsafe pit entrance/exit will not be cleared.

Cautions

1.

Cautions are dictated by iRacing.

2.

Manual cautions may be thrown in certain cases at the discretion of the admin team.

3.

Damaged cars that cannot catch the field need to tow or enter pit road immediately.

4.

Hold your brake when crashing. It is your responsibility to stop your car and move only when you are clear to do so. Tow if you aren't sure.

Deliberate or Negligent Conduct During Caution

1.

Any driver who intentionally or recklessly disrupts the field under caution will be subject to disciplinary action.

Penalty Structure:

1.

First offense: 2-point deduction + drive-thru penalty for following race

2.

Second Offense: 5-point deduction + probation for 3 races

3.

Third Offense: 10-point deduction + one-race suspension

4.

Fourth Offense: Indefinite suspension/league removal pending review

Livery Number Requirements

1.

All drivers must display the number assigned to them by the league on their livery. The displayed number must clearly match the driver's registered league number.

2.

Three-digit numbers are permitted; however, all digits must be clearly visible, evenly spaced, and individually stamped on the livery. Blended, overlapping, or stylized designs that obscure readability are not allowed.

3.

Drivers are not permitted to change their number during the active season. All number changes must be made during the off-season.

4.

Requests for number changes must be submitted publicly in the Roster channel. Requests made through direct message or other means will not be accepted.

5.

Violations of rule 1 and/or 2 will result in a one-race warning for the first offense. Any subsequent infraction will result in disqualification from that race.

Start/Restart Procedures

1.

All drivers including the race leaders must remain in their assigned lane at restart until crossing the Start/Finish line. This applies to the initial race start and all restarts.

2.

No driver may pull out of line, initiate a pass, or overlap the rear bumper of the car ahead before crossing the Start/Finish line.

3.

The leader must maintain their lane and may not weave, swerve, or drift outside their designated lane before the Start/Finish line.

4.

The leader must control the pace within the designated start zone and do so without compromising lane integrity.

5.

Drivers starting deeper in the field are reminded to exercise discipline during starts and restarts.

Start/Restart Discipline Rule

1.

First offense: Drive-through penalty

2.

Second offense (same race): Stop-and-go penalty

3.

Third offense (same race): Disqualification from race

Post-Race Review Penalties

If an At-Fault incident is found during post-race review:

All At Fault Incidents — 5 Point Penalty

1.

First At-Fault: Enter Ladder - Noted

2.

Second At-Fault: Official Warning

3.

Third At-Fault (within 2 races): Probation for 3 races

4.

Fourth At-Fault (within 3 races): One-race suspension

5.

Any Additional Infractions in that Time: Indefinite suspension pending review
