Your first goal at HP Racing should be fun. Accidents happen, and we are all human. Race with respect and speak kindly to your fellow drivers.
No derogatory remarks or slurs.
No harassment/bullying
Your Discord server profile name must match your iRacing name and roster number.
We are an 18+ League. You must be 18 or older to join.
All drivers are required to be members of the league's official Discord server in order to participate in league events. Discord membership ensures that drivers receive official communications, race announcements, and real-time updates.
Our league is a beginner to intermediate racing league. We will enforce a 2500 iRating soft cap, and a 3500 hard cap. Anyone above 2500 will be monitored. If you are too competitive for the rest of the field, you may be asked to leave.
All drivers must have voice chat and push to talk enabled in-game.
Keep chat to a minimum and use race chat only.
Race chat refers to notifying other drivers you intend to pit or of hazards on track.
Overly offensive language or arguing over race chat will result in being muted for the entirety of the race.
Overt racist or derogatory language will result in immediate and permanent removal from HP Racing.
Admins have the right to remove any member for any language that they view as detrimental to the League or its members.
If you receive a Black Flag that you believe is unwarranted, you must call it out so the admins can review it and clear it if necessary.
Further review will be looked at during the caution or after the race, if deemed a false penalty claim you will be disqualified from the race or issued 0 points.
Intentional wrecking will not be tolerated.
If the admin team feels an incident was initiated with malice, the offending driver will be subject to disciplinary action including but not limited to point reduction, probation, suspension, or removal from the league. Each incident will be looked at on a case-by-case basis.
Stopping on track will be viewed as intentionally trying to bring out a caution. This will be reviewed post-race, and penalties at admins discretion.
Drivers must call out that they are pitting a fair distance ahead of pit lane to warn the drivers behind.
Maintain pit-road speed as best you can. Speeding in pits black flag will not be cleared under any circumstance.
Intentional/excessive speeding in pit road will not be tolerated and is subject to disciplinary action.
Black Flags for unsafe pit entrance/exit will not be cleared.
1 Fast Repair Provided. Please double-check your pit settings before entering pit road to avoid an accidental use of the fast repair.
Cautions are dictated by iRacing.
Manual cautions may be thrown in certain cases at the discretion of the admin team.
Damaged cars that cannot catch the field need to tow or enter pit road immediately.
Hold your brake when crashing. It is your responsibility to stop your car and move only when you are clear to do so. Tow if you aren't sure.
– All drivers must display the number assigned to them by the league on their livery. The displayed number must clearly match the driver’s registered league number.
– Drivers are not permitted to change their number during the active season. All number changes must be made during the off-season.
– Requests for number changes must be submitted publicly in the Roster channel. Requests made through direct message or other means will not be accepted.
– Drivers found running an incorrect number may be removed from the race session and/or receive championship point penalties. Repeat offenders should expect escalating penalties.
All drivers including the race leaders must remain in their assigned lane at restart until crossing the Start/Finish line. This applies to the initial race start and all restarts.
Advancement Restriction: No driver may pull out of line, initiate a pass, or overlap the rear bumper of the car ahead before crossing the Start/Finish line.
The leader must maintain their lane and may not weave, swerve, or drift outside their designated lane before the Start/Finish line.
The leader must control the pace within the designated start zone and do so without compromising lane integrity.
Drivers starting deeper in the field are reminded to exercise discipline during starts and restarts.
First offense: Drive-through penalty
Second offense (same race): Stop-and-go penalty
Third offense (same race): Disqualification from race
All Cautions are reviewed.
Racing incidents will happen. Don't sweat the small stuff. Any incident we deem as hard racing will be issued as a Racing incident.
If an At-Fault incident is found during post-race review:
First At-Fault: 5-point penalty Second At-Fault (within the same race): 10-point penalty Third At-Fault (within the same race): 15-point penalty. Probation for your next race ran. Fourth At-Fault (within 2 races): Two-race suspension.
Any additional infractions in that time: Indefinite suspension pending review
Probation only clears after a race with no At-Fault penalties.
Point Penalties will be doubled under probation.
