Brandon Massie delivered a wire-to-wire victory at Rockingham Speedway, leading all drivers to the checkered flag after starting from the pole position in his #9 machine. Despite collecting 2 incidents during the 120-lap affair, Massie maintained his composure at the front while chaos unfolded behind him throughout the relatively clean race that featured just 2 cautions for 6 laps. Ira Kohlhaas in the #29 car held onto second place from his front-row starting position, though his 4 incidents made for a more eventful afternoon than Massie experienced.

The race's most compelling storyline unfolded deep in the field, where Shaun Dionne mounted a spectacular charge from 11th to 5th place in his #3 entry, earning hard charger honors with his 6-position improvement. Dionne's flawless drive featured zero incidents and demonstrated the kind of performance that kept his championship hopes alive entering the season finale. Brian Sousa also turned in a stellar performance, advancing from 7th to 4th without a single incident, while Stephen McComas rounded out the podium after gaining one position from his 4th-place start.

The championship battle took a decisive turn as Tom Ringer, despite finishing a disappointing 10th after starting 9th and accumulating 6 incidents in his #68 car, managed to secure enough points to clinch his first O'Reilly Series title. Ringer's 27-point haul brought his season total to 161 points, just 4 points ahead of Dionne, who scored 32 points with his fifth-place finish to reach 157 points. The narrow 4-point margin highlighted how crucial every position proved in this winner-take-all finale.

With the season now complete, Ringer's championship triumph caps off a dramatic conclusion to the O'Reilly Series campaign. Chuck Burley finished third in the final standings with 127 points after his 7th-place finish from 10th, while Todd Parent and Brent Thompson completed the top five in championship points. The season finale at Rockingham provided the perfect stage for Ringer to claim his crown, though Dionne's valiant effort from the back of the field made for a thrilling finish to the title fight.
