John Crosby delivered a masterful drive from 17th on the grid to capture victory at Texas Motor Speedway, overcoming a challenging start position to claim his first win of the Elite Truck Series season. The #73 truck navigated through multiple incidents throughout the 120-lap contest, accumulating 6 incidents himself while leading 27 laps during a race that featured 15 lead changes and 7 cautions consuming 21 laps. Crosby's triumph came at the expense of pole-sitter Jesse Gordon in the #10 truck, who led 28 laps but settled for third place after starting from the front row.

The race's standout performance belonged to hard charger Daniel Mcconnell, who piloted his #38 truck from 41st starting position to a remarkable 9th-place finish, gaining an extraordinary 32 positions despite 5 incidents along the way. Brandon Shuman in the #52 also mounted an impressive charge from 29th to second place, advancing 27 spots while leading 2 laps and keeping his incident count to just 2. The dramatic nature of the event was exemplified by Dakota Reeder's misfortune, as the #85 truck plummeted from second on the grid to 29th at the checkered flag despite leading 34 laps.

Texas Motor Speedway proved particularly treacherous for several front-runners, with multiple drivers suffering significant position losses. Will Weber's #40 truck dropped 17 positions from 6th to 23rd while accumulating a race-high 21 incidents, while Tiyler Walts fell 30 spots from 4th to 34th in the #9. Only two drivers managed to avoid incidents entirely: Brian Sousa (#60) and jonathan McIntosh (#09), who finished 12th and 13th respectively.

Crosby's victory vaults him to third in the championship standings with 10 points, trailing leader Jordan Traas by just 5 points after only two rounds. Despite his disappointing finish, Gordon maintains second place with 12 points, while Traas retains the points lead with 15 despite falling three positions from his third-place starting spot to sixth. With 18 races remaining in the season, the championship battle remains wide open as the top five drivers are separated by only 9 points.
