John Crosby put together a commanding performance at Iowa Speedway on Saturday, steering the #73 truck to victory in Round 5 of the RFRL Pro Truck Season. Crosby, who started from the second position, led 131 of 150 laps in a race that saw three lead changes and just one caution period consuming four laps. The win is Crosby's third of the season in this series, further cementing his status as the man to beat in the RFRL Pro Truck ranks.

Polesitter Ryan Godfrey in the #88 had to settle for fourth after starting from the front and picking up one incident along the way, while #11 Jonathan Burt delivered a strong run from his P5 starting spot to cross the stripe second for what stands as his first podium finish in the series. Todd Parent in the #69 rounded out the top three, also advancing three positions from his P6 starting spot in a clean, zero-incident run. Marc Holloway's #56 truck rounded out the top five after sliding two spots back from his third-place starting position.

The hard charger award belonged to Brandon Hinton in the #5, who carved his way from 13th on the grid all the way to seventh, gaining six positions across 150 laps. Hinton's effort was more than a strong finish — his truck led 18 laps during the race, making him one of only three drivers to hold the front spot at Iowa. The run strengthened Hinton's footing in the standings, where he sits third with 149 points, just one point behind Brian Sousa and 34 behind leader Crosby.

With 15 races still remaining in the RFRL Pro Truck Season, Crosby's 24-point cushion over Sousa feels meaningful but far from decisive. Sousa brought the #60 home eighth, Shaun Dionne gained five spots to finish tenth from P15, and Tom Ringer's sixth-place run keeps him right in the thick of the points battle at fourth with 148. The back half of the field told a rougher story — #57 Robert Walton collected three incidents and fell six positions to 14th, while #71 Tommy Wynne dropped eight spots to 15th after two incidents of his own. Iowa has reshuffled the standings, and with a long stretch of racing ahead, the fight for the top spot is very much alive.
