Hardin also led 10 laps during his charge forward, demonstrating that his progress through the field was not purely reactive. For Hardin, it represents his first win — correction, first podium — of the season, with no prior wins in the series to his name heading into the weekend.

Behind the top three, #69 Todd Parent recovered from a seventh-place start to finish fourth, while #5 Brandon Hinton delivered another strong run from 12th on the grid to sixth, gaining six positions in a clean run. #56 Marc Holloway had the toughest afternoon among the front-starters, dropping six spots from third on the grid to finish ninth with four incidents to his name — matching the four incidents suffered by #57 Robert Walton, who held his fifth-place starting position but did not escape the day without damage to his scorecard.

In the championship picture, John Crosby continues to lead the standings at 255 points after Round 8, holding a 10-point advantage over Brian Sousa at 245. Brandon Hinton sits third at 243 — just two points behind Sousa — while Tom Ringer and Anthony Hardin are locked together at 236 points in fourth and fifth respectively. With 12 races still remaining on the schedule, the points are tight enough that Sunday's hard charger could become Saturday's points leader in short order. The title fight is very much alive across all five of those positions.
